Great value, but needed a little work

Pros: Good Value for Money
I play acoustic guitar, and fancied something a little different for a change.
Ordering online was straightforward, though I was slightly concerned that my browser didn't indicate a 'secure' connection for entering credit card details. Delivery was extremely quick - I was most impressed.
As delivered, the banjo needed to have the bridge put in the right position - I think a brief instruction leaflet would be useful here, though I found answers on the web.
After setting up as well as I could, I found a slight fret buzzing on the lowest string. After more research I ordered a slightly higher bridge, which solved the problem.
The banjo plays very nicely and has a good tone. It seems mostly well constructed, though one strap-hook bent and fell off within a day of being used.
Would I recommend it? Yes - but be prepared to put in a little effort on the set-up if you buy through the post. It's certainly excellent value.

We bought this BJW24 deluxe western banjo for our son for Christmas. Ordering was easy on line and it was delivered in no time, a relief as we had left it a bit close! We were incredibly pleased with it, it looked and sounded wonderful, and our son was thrilled - he's teaching himself and enjoying it very much, thank you!
