Pros: Good Value for Money

Bought the cornet at Normans UK due to the fact that prices in the UK are quite low at present for us here in Germany. Normans has sent the cornet within 3 days. Here in Germany it would take the same amount of time for domestic deliverys only. Top.

Pros: Good Value for Money
Cons: only good whilst you are in your early stages

I quit playing about 20 years ago and wanted to purchase an affordable new cornet. Besson is a name synonimous with quality and this cornet has not let me down. It has a quality finish and plays far better than it is priced. This cornet will last me for my first couple of years getting back into playing, then it will hold a good price when I want to upgrade.

Pros: Good Value for Money, Durable
Cons: tarnishing/watermarks

I bought this as a starter Cornet in November last year - it has been an excellent 'learner' cornet, especially from someone who comes from a woodwind background.

It is light, comfortable and easy to handle and I was able to get a well rounded sound from it wthin a matter of days.

One thing I would say is that the areas around the water lets has bcome slightly tarnished. However this is the only downside.

An excellent starter cornet for anyone who is thinking of taking the plunge into brass instruments!
